Announced in March 2017, Celebrity Edge, the first of Celebrity Cruises' innovative Edge-class ships. Scheduled to debut in December 2018, destinations will include a launch season in the Caribbean out of Port Everglades in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Edge's design focuses on the idea of transformative design, accommodations and experiences - leading to new features that will be the first of their kind at sea!

Celebrity Edge brings the brand's signature brand of luxury travel to a new level, taking the onboard experience to the leading edge of possibility. Her unique, outward facing design breaks from tradition to take the destination and bring it in, from Celebrity's new Edge staterooms to the introduction of revolutionary, industry-first venues such as the Magic Carpet.

Perched on the starboard side of the ship, the Magic Carpet onboard Celebrity Edge is an open-air, ocean-facing panoramic public space that ascends and descends several decks. Boasting comfortable seating, a full bar, and a space for live music performances, the Magic Carpet can change its mood, function and location to provide guests with an array of visual perspectives and distinct onboard experiences.

Celebrity Edge's technological innovations don't stop there, but extend into the comfort of your very stateroom! This includes reimagined staterooms with larger living areas, bigger bathrooms, double the drawer space, and a king-size bed in 99% of rooms — another industry-first for premium cruise lines.

Guests onboard Celebrity Edge will find the very essence of Celebrity's transformational philosophy in the new Edge staterooms, which introduce the Infinite Veranda. With the touch of a button, your entire stateroom transforms into your own private seascape, letting you walk right out to the water's edge. Not only do these staterooms feature the latest in design and technology, but they’re 23% larger than Celebrity's award-winning Solstice® Class veranda staterooms.

But far from stopping at just bringing the outside in, Celebrity Edge's outdoor venues have been redesigned with comfort, luxury, and spaciousness in mind. These include the Rooftop Garden and Rooftop Garden Grill, a stunning Resort Deck with an asymmetrical main pool area that breaks the mold and Celebrity's signature Solarium, an adult's only escape. Guests who stay in a Suite onboard Celebrity Edge also get exclusive access to The Retreat Sundeck and The Retreat Lounge.

Celebrity Edge will also feature an additional five specialty restaurants - one of which will offer a pop-up dining experience on select nights: Fine Cut Steakhouse (offering a selection of steak and seafood), Le Grande Bistro (casual French dishes), Raw on Five (a raw bar also offering seafood, sushi and sashimi) and Dinner on the Edge (locally-sourced meals located on the Magic Carpet). Once or twice per cruise, the menu at Le Grand Bistro will be replaced by the TableMations Studio Experience, during which Le Petit Chef, an animated character, will appear besides your plate and "prepare" each course before waiters serve the actual dish.

Dining onboard Celebrity Edge will also be completely revolutionized, with the creation of four complimentary main restaurants. While all dining rooms will share a basic "Classics" menu and change nightly, each will also feature a unique menu with special dishes inspired by the restaurant itself:

Normandie Restaurant will offer contemporary French cuisine, in the spirit of the popular Murano restaurants on the line's Solstice-class ships. Tuscan Restaurant, inspired by signature dining venue Tuscan Grille, features dishes from the south of Italty. Cyprus Restaurant, in a nod to Celebrity's Greek heritage, serves up Greek and Mediterranean meals. And Cosmopolitan Restaurant will bring to the table new American cuisine with global influences. Thanks to the introduction of Celebrity Select Dining Plus, guests onboard Celebrity Edge will be able to choose between set dining and the flexible dining guests already know, with a big plus. Guests will be able to change their dining room nightly, if they'd like!

Resort Deck
Introducing a visionary outward-facing design, the Resort Deck onboard Celebrity Edge is encompassed by an outward-facing asymmetrical pool deck with a poolside gallery full of oversized art installations, two-story martini hot tubs, and high-ceilinged private cabanas that overlook the ocean. There’s also the Rooftop Garden, an urban playscape where you can catch a movie, have a picnic, or dance among the stars.

Solarium
Celebrity Edge continues the tradition of offering a covered pool area where adults can unwind in modern luxury style. One of the most popular spots on every Celebrity ship, the Solarium has been reimagined by celebrated architect Tom Wright, who used the ocean as his inspiration for this adults-only sanctuary.

The Destination Gateway
A new multi-purpose area that brings our destinations to life, The Destination Gateway is a portal that leads to all things global through onshore exploration and onboard enrichment. When not in use as a luxury embarkation station, the space is transformed into an intimate setting for programming centered on destination immersion, shore excursions, and more.

Edge Launches
The comfortable and welcoming environment of The Destination Gateway leads to Celebrity's newly reimagined Edge Launches, featuring bucket seats, air conditioning, large windows for stunning sea-level views, and more space.
