Upon its debut on January, 26 2011, Disney Dream became the largest and most feature-packed ship to ever grace the already popular Disney Cruise Line fleet. This "mega-ship" (about 40% larger than the current Disney cruise ships) has unique features such as the first "water coaster" ever to be on a cruise ship. Disney Dream carries on Disney's classic theme of the early 20th century, reminiscent of the golden age of cruising.
Disney Dream exclusively does Bahamas cruises, 3-, 4- or 5-nights in length, sailing round trip from Port Canaveral, Florida. With the cruise port being only  about a 45-minute drive from Orlando (depending on traffic), we can take your vacation to the next level by combining a Disney cruise with a Walt Disney World Resort land package!
Guests sailing on a Disney Dream cruise should never run out of things to do while on board. The two-story Walt Disney Theatre is a live-performance venue that will host a variety of shows, including Broadway-style Disney live shows, as well as 3-D and first-run movies. Also on board this ship are swimming pools (including an adults-only pool), whirlpools and Goofy's Sports Deck (an open-air activity center, featuring a miniature golf course, virtual sports simulators and a basketball/volleyball court).
Disney does not disappoint when it comes to dining. As such, Disney Dream has a variety of dining options available. Animator's Palate serves dinner and is home to a unique dinner show starring Disney characters. Enchanting Garden serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and magically transforms from day to night during dining. Royal Palace, inspired by classic Disney films like Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, is open for all three meals as well. Palo is an intimate adults-only Northern Italian restaurant, with a per person cover charge for those that opt to dine there. A convenient option that is available to all guests is 24-hour room service.
A Disney Dream cruise is certainly not just for families, as guests of all ages can enjoy such a cruise. In fact, there are a variety of adult-only venues on board Disney Dream. For instance, Cove Café is a lounge just for adults, offering Internet access, gourmet coffee, snacks and cocktails. Evolution Lounge is a dance club that's only open to adults at night. Other adult-only bars include Pink, Skyline and Meridian Bar…as you can see, there's lots of choices! |

Ship Highlights
Virtual Portholes
A truly unique and original feature that is available in all of the inside staterooms aboard Disney Dream is a Virtual Portholes. These innovative LED flat-screen monitors provide guests with real-time views of the outside of the ship, reflecting on the stateroom's actual location (port or starboard). Plus, there are virtual sightings of animated Disney characters from time to time! Of course, the screens can be turned off if you so desire (such as at bedtime).
AquaDuck
This is the cruise industry's first ever "water coaster." At 765-feet in length and with a 4 deck drop into a lazy river, it provides plenty of high-speed thrills to guests sailing on a Disney Dream cruise that opt to enjoy it. Guests that would like to go on the AquaDuck must be 48" or taller.
Buena Vista Theatre
Located on decks 4 and 5 of the Disney Dream, this stylish theatre shows first-run movies and digital 3-D films on a giant movie screen. Guests are able to enjoy the comfort of plush stadium-style seats while in this venue.
Character Greetings
While on a Disney Dream cruise, guests have the opportunity to meet and greet Disney characters, both in designated areas of the ship and during special surprise appearances. Possible characters that you'll be able to get a photo and/or autograph from include Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, Donald Duck and more!
Senses Spa & Salon
This sanctuary is where guests on a Disney Dream cruise are able to enjoy a variety of spa treatments and salon services. Examples of spa treatments that are available at Senses are massages, body wraps, facials and aromatherapy. Salon services include manicures, pedicures and hairstyling. There is even a barber shop for traditional men's grooming services. The Rainforest room is a special area in the spa with a Hamam (steam bath), Caldrium (steam room) and Laconium (dry sauna). Located nearby this area of the ship is a fitness center, with a large variety of exercise equipment and fitness classes (such as yoga and Pilates) available. Guests of the Senses Spa & Salon, as well as the fitness center, must be at least 18 years old.
Youth Clubs
Not surprisingly, there is a fantastic youth program available on all Disney cruises. Accordingly, the Disney Dream features a variety of programs and spaces designed just for children and teens. Among these areas are Vibe, a teen-only space (for 14 to 17 year olds) with an indoor lounge and breezy sundeck. It's a Small World Nursery is Disney Dream's babysitting center, for 3 month to 3 year olds. Edge is a tweens-only space (for 11 to 13 year olds), featuring video games, music, television, Internet surfing and more. D Lounge, a family lounge and nightclub, is where parents and children can get together to dance, sing and play games. Disney's Oceaneer Lab and Disney's Oceaneer Club are special children's activity centers. Arr-cade is a state-of-the-art arcade, providing great fun for guests of all ages! |

This includes shore excursions, Palo dining, spa treatments, nursery stay reservations, dining room seating preference requests, special occasions and celebration planning and assistance with all special requests.
