With Princess Cruises' Personal Choice Dining program, you're able to choose between Traditional (assigned) or Anytime (open) Dining. This makes a Golden Princess cruise an excellent choice, regardless of your dining style preference. Among the many dining options available on board this ship are 24-hour room service, a 24-hour buffet/bistro, a hamburger grill, pizzeria, ice cream bar, as well as three main dining rooms and two specialty restaurants.
You shouldn't ever run out of things to do while on a Golden Princess cruise. For instance, on board this ship are three show lounges, a 24-hour internet cafe, sports court, full-service spa, fitness center, large casino, four pools (including a swim-against-the-current pool), hot tubs, nine-hole putting course, library, as well as many bars and lounges (such as Skywalkers Nightclub, which is suspended 150 feet above the water). Movies Under the Stars
This 300-square foot giant LED screen, located poolside aboard Golden Princess, is one of the signature amenities available on many Princess cruise ships. Live sporting events, concerts and movies are just a few of the possibilities that one can see on this impressive movie theater at sea. Each evening, the ship's staff will make comfortable blankets and popcorn available to you.
The Sanctuary
An adults-only spa-inspired outdoors area aboard Golden Princess is where you can enjoy signature drinks, lights snacks, and even massages in a private outdoor cabana. Personal MP3 players, with noise-canceling headphones and pre-loaded music, are available for rent in The Sanctuary. Also in this area of the ship are many comfortable lounge chairs, some with large umbrellas next to them for shade.
Specialty Dining
There are two excellent specialty restaurants on board Golden Princess, Sabatini's and Crown Grill. Sabatini's is an Italian restaurant that serves a multi-course menu and features a wonderful wine selection. Crown Grill is a steakhouse that features great seafood as well. Both of these (optional) restaurants have a per person cover charge. |
