The 2,590-guest Star Princess can be found cruising in popular vacation destinations, such as Alaska, Hawaii, the Mexican Riviera, South America, and the South Pacific.

During the fall of 2011, Star Princess underwent a refurbishment, which included the conversion of Sterling Steakhouse to Crown Grill, the addition of Window Suites on deck 6, as well as upgrades to the ship's casino and Horizon Court.

With over 700 balcony staterooms and an entire deck of mini-suites, Star Princess features a wonderful variety of accommodations (ranging in size from 159 to 1,314-square feet). Also available on board this ship are interior staterooms, oceanviews and suites.

With Princess Cruises' Personal Choice Dining program, guests sailing on a Star Princess cruise can choose between Traditional (assigned) and Anytime (open) dining for dinner. Some of the dining options available on this ship are a few main dining rooms, a couple of specialty restaurants, Trident Grill (featuring burgers and hot dogs), Prego Pizzeria, Scoops Ice Cream Bar, Horizon Court and Bistro, the 24-hour International Cafe (located in the ship's piazza-style atrium), a wine and seafood bar, as well as 24-hour room service.

There's a seemingly endless list of things to do while on a Star Princess cruise. For instance, there's Movies Under the Stars, the full-service Lotus Spa (which also features a fitness center), show lounges, a bunch of bars and lounges (including the innovative Skywalkers Nightclub, suspended 150 feet above the water, as well as a wine and caviar bar), a library, child and teen centers, a video arcade, a large casino (featuring blackjack, roulette, craps, poker and many slot machines), as well as a 24-hour Internet Cafe. There's even a wedding chapel on board, for those looking for a "Wedding at Sea."

Movies Under the Stars
One of the signature features of the Princess fleet is this 300-square foot LED movie screen, located poolside aboard Star Princess. Examples of the presentations shown at this venue are live sporting events, concerts and movies. During each evening of your cruise, the staff will be around to hand out comfortable blankets and popcorn.

Lotus Spa
If you're looking to truly get some rest and relaxation while on a Star Princess cruise, consider a treatment at the ship's luxurious Japanese-themed spa. Some of the treatments available at the Lotus Spa include massages, body wraps, facials and acupuncture. Also in this area of the ship is a great fitness center, with state-of-the-art exercise equipment and fitness classes (such as yoga and pilates).

Specialty Dining
There are two optional specialty restaurants on board Star Princess. Sabatini's is an Italian Restaurant with a fabulous multi-course menu, as well as an extensive wine list. Sterling Steakhouse is the place to be if you're looking for great steak or seafood. Another specialty dining option available on board this ship is Ultimate Balcony Dining, a private multi-course dining experience that's available to guests staying in a stateroom that has a balcony. There is a per person cover charge for all of the specialty dining options available on board Star Princess.
