Cruises from Anchorage

Anchorage, the largest city in all of Alaska, is a great place to visit in combination with a cruise. Many Alaska cruises feature itineraries that include Anchorage as a port of call; however, there are currently no cruises that depart from Anchorage. We will post cruise deals and information online should cruises from Anchorage be available again.

Because of the lack of cruises from Anchorage, many travelers opt to fly into Anchorage and then take a cruise leaving from the nearby Alaskan port cities of Whittier or Seward.

Whittier, Alaska is only about a 1 1/2 hour drive from the Anchorage Airport. There is a nice selection of Princess cruises departing from Whittier. Please view our Cruises from Whittier page if you'd like to access information about cruises from Whittier.

Anchorage is around a 2 1/2 hour drive from Seward, Alaska. Like Whittier, many cruisers book cruises from Seward since there are a few cruise lines offering cruises from Seward. Among the cruise lines departing from Seward are Celebrity Cruises, Holland America Line, Regent Seven Seas Cruises, Royal Caribbean and Silversea Cruises. Please view our Cruises from Seward page if you're interested in finding out more information about cruises departing from Seward.

In case you're wondering, when cruises from Anchorage are offered, they're almost always one-way, southbound Alaska cruises (usually a week long), ending in a port city such as Vancouver, British Columbia.

American Discount Cruises & Travel is proud to offer the best deals possible on all cruises from Anchorage. Backed by our Backed by our "Low Price Guarantee," and powered by our team of expert travel agents, we're sure to exceed your expectations when booking your next cruise departing from Anchorage!
