Houston Space Center is the official visitors center of the Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center. Among the many artifacts found at the Houston Space Center are the Mercury 9 capsule, the Gemini 5 capsule, the Apollo 17 command module, the Lunar Rover Vehicle trainer, the Skylab trainer mock-up, the Lunar Module Test Article 8, and the Saturn V. This is a great center for families with kids of all ages.

A 130,000 square foot entertainment area that has theaters, bars, restaurants, and shops. Located conveniently in downtown Houston this is a great night spot for anyone staying over pre- or post-cruise. Among the many restaurants inside are Hard Rock Cafe, Blue Fish, and Samba Grille. There is also the Bayou Music Center that is used for all sorts of concerts year-round.

Houston Zoo is home to well over 6,000 animals, ranging from over 900 species. With Metro bus and light rail service from downtown to the zoo it is very easy for tourists to check out this fun attraction.
