The new Pinnacle class ship to be replacing the ms Statendam and ms Ryndam has finally been named - and calling the ship the future crown of Holland of America's cruise line would be no understatement!
The Heir of Holland's Legacy
Paying homage to Holland of America's long and rich history (its Sesquicentennial celebration is within spying distance - wow!), the ms Koningsdam carries on tradition of bearing the "dam" suffix. With "Koning" meaning "King" in Dutch, it's clear that there are magestic expectations for their largest ship in the fleet so far.
Boldly Looking To The Future
Acknowledging the timeless traditions which have lead to them being one of the leading cruiselines of the day, Holland of America plans to continue striding forward with the ms Koningsdam. At 99,950 tons and boasting a capacity of of 2,650 passengers this ship is their largest to date!
