Cunard Line has been in business for over 150 years. They have a long and storied history, filled with many famous vessels. Cunard is proud to recreate the Golden Age of cruising onboard their magnificent vessels, enhanced through their famed White Star Service. Today, Cunard features two ships in her fleet of ocean liners: Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria.
Queen Elizabeth 2 (also known as QE2), one of the world's most famous cruise ships, has recently retired from Cunard Line's fleet. She celebrated her 40th anniversary during 2008, and has now become a stationary luxury hotel docked in Dubai.
Queen Mary 2 (also known as QM2) is one of the world's largest cruise ships (at over 151,000 tons!). She is also the only ship in the world that offers a regular transatlantic service. She also offers a World Cruise itinerary, besides a ton of other individual cruise itineraries (including the Caribbean, Australia, Asia, Europe, New England, South America and more).
Queen Victoria, the newest ship in the Cunard fleet, was launched in December of 2007. She's a 90,000-ton ocean liner that will be featuring a World Cruise itinerary as well a wide variety of individual cruise itineraries (such as Asia, Europe, Panama Canal and Transatlantic).
Coming up in 2010, Cunard Line has announced plans to launch Queen Elizabeth, sure to be an excellent and elegant addition to the fabulous Cunard fleet. Itinerary information for this exciting upcoming ocean liner has been released and is open for reservations!
Cunard features cruises traveling all around the world, to many of the most popular vacation destinations. Cunard Line is particularly famous for their transatlantic cruises (typically a one-way cruise between New York and Southampton, England) and their annual World Cruises.
