Holland America Line is over 135 years old. What does this mean? That they know what they're doing! This premium cruise line has 14 spacious cruise ships in its magnificent fleet, offering over 500 cruises sailing from over 38 departure ports. The itineraries offered by Holland America Line range in length from just 2 to as long as 108 days, and they offer cruises visiting all seven continents. The destinations featured by Holland America include popular ones such as the Caribbean, Alaska, Europe, Mexico, Canada & New England, Australia & New Zealand, Asia and the Panama Canal. In addition to that, Holland America Line features World Cruise itineraries (on select ships) as well as more exotic itineraries, such as the Amazon and Antarctica.
One of Holland America Line's recent innovations is their Signature of Excellence® program. This is a $425 million fleetwide enhancement, featuring a slew of new programs and enhancements. Among them is their Culinary Arts Center (presented by Food & Wine Magazine), a state-of-the-art onboard show kitchen where various culinary experts will provide cooking demonstrations and classes. New cabin amenities include flat-panel TVs and plush-top Mariner's Dream Beds. New teens-only areas will also be included on the Holland America ships.
