Azamara Club Cruises
Azamara Club Cruises, formerly named Azamara Cruises, is one of the world's premier luxury cruise lines. Azamara strives to create a truly unique product, and accomplishes this quite nicely. Special amenities that all guests booked on an Azamara cruise benefit from include  complimentary butler service, pre-paid gratuities, two nights of complimentary specialty restaurant dining, complimentary soda, nonalcoholic specialty coffees, tea and bottled water, as well as complimentary house wine service during lunch and dinner. Guests that are booked in a suite get an additional (third) night of complimentary specialty dining included!
Currently, Azamara Club Cruises features two identical 694-passenger sister ships in its fleet, Azamara Journey and Azamara Quest. 93% of the staterooms onboard each of Azamara's ships feature an ocean view, and 68% have a private veranda. Both of Azamara's ships were refurbished in 2007, via a $17.5 million revitalization project. The upgrades introduced during this process include all staterooms onboard each Azamara ship receiving new European bedding and soft goods, flat screen televisions, new veranda decking and furniture, and wireless internet service (in all staterooms and public areas).

The Azamara cruise ships travel all around the around, to many of the world's most popular destinations. The primary destinations visited by Azamara are Europe, Asia, the Panama Canal, Mexico and the Caribbean. Azamara takes particular pride in being able to feature quite exotic itineraries, featuring some ports of call that are not often visited on other cruise lines. What allows them to do this is the size of their ships. Being smaller ships, relative to the other major cruise lines, Azamara is able to "fit" into a few ports of call that the super-large ships of other lines cannot. In conjunction with their great itineraries are special shore excursions that delve deep into the culture of the destinations being visited.
Unique Stateroom Amenities
All staterooms on Azamara come with complimentary butler service, a daily fruit basket, fresh cut flowers, 24-hour room service, a sweet surprise on your pillow each evening, afternoon canapés, complimentary shoe-shine service, a 23" plasma television, personal stationery, Elemis bathroom products, two nights of complimentary specialty dining,  one complimentary large bottle of water, new European bedding, and complimentary use of binoculars, umbrellas and plush robes.
Excellent Cuisine
The dining onboard an Azamara ship is gourmet quality, featuring a wide variety of choices. Each one of Azamara's intimate  ships feature two optional specialty restaurants, Aqualina (featuring nice Mediterranean choices) and Prime C (serving excellent steaks and fresh seafood). Guests cruising with Azamara Cruises receive two complimentary specialty restaurant dinners, while guests staying in suites receive an additional specialty dinner. Please note that all guests that dine in either specialty restaurant will be charged a recommended gratuity of $5 per guest per night.
What's New for Azamara Club Cruises?
Azamara Club Cruises will be offering a variety of first-time ever Sea of Cortez voyages, sailing round trip from San Diego, during their 2010-11 winter season. These voyages will visit five new ports new to Azamara: Mazatlan, Topolobampo, Loreto, Guaymas and La Paz, Mexico.
Also new for Azamara Club Cruises, (as mentioned above) as of their April 2010 Europe voyages, is that all guests will get complimentary house wine served to them during lunch and dinner, as well as complimentary non-alcoholic specialty coffee, tea, soda and bottled water throughout the cruise. Another major enhancement is that gratuities will be pre-paid for the housekeeping and dining staff. The butler service available on board for all guests will also be enhanced, as Azamara will be having their butlers expertly trained in England. Guests staying in a suite will be able to dine in the specialty restaurants without incurring a cover charge, while non-suite guests will have to pay $15 per person to dine in such optional venues.
Effective April 1, 2010, Azamara Club Cruises launched a new loyalty program named "Le Club Voyage." For the remainder of 2010, guests who are members of Captain's Club (Azamara's previous loyalty program), will continue to accumulate tier credits on both Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club Cruises and enjoy the benefits of the Le Club Voyage tier levels that correspond to credits earned. In January 2011, Le Club Voyage credits will be earned separately from the Captain's Club. At that point, guests who sailed on both Azamara Club Cruises and Celebrity Cruises, will have all previously earned credits applied to both programs.
