Royal Caribbean
Royal Caribbean International, commonly called Royal Caribbean, is one of the world's most innovative and famous cruise lines. In fact, they're known as "The Nation of Why Not," because their ships are a place where innovation and imagination reign supreme. Royal Caribbean's huge fleet of ships set sail to a multitude of destinations throughout the world. They offer cruises to the Caribbean, Europe, Alaska, Mexico, Bermuda, Canada (and New England), the Panama Canal, Hawaii, and Asia! Looking to do a land package in combination with a cruise? Then book one of our Royal Caribbean cruisetour packages!
There's no better way to visit so many destinations all in one trip. Why travel city after city when your "hotel at sea" can take you there? Avoid the hassles of packing and unpacking by allowing Royal Caribbean to take you straight to where you want to be - your vacation! Their ships are among the most modern in the world, featuring lots of "wow" factors such as ice-skating rinks, rock-climbing walls and surfing simulators. Once you've been on a Royal Caribbean cruise you’ll instantly see why they are so famous and successful. As they say at Royal Caribbean…Get Out There!
American Discount Cruises & Travel is proud to offer the best deals possible on all Royal Caribbean cruises booked with us. "Low Price Guarantee," and powered by our team of expert travel agents, we're sure to exceed your expectations when booking your next Royal Caribbean cruise!
Why Choose Royal Caribbean?
The Royal Caribbean ships are State-of-the-art!
Royal Caribbean's ships feature many "at-sea firsts." For example, their Freedom Class ships (Freedom of the Seas, Liberty of the Seas and Independence of the Seas) feature FlowRider, a surfing simulator. The Royal Promenade available on many of the Royal Caribbean ships make you feel like you're hanging out in the downtown area of a happening city, with a slew of bars, lounges and dining venues lining it. Also available on many of Royal Caribbean's ships are ice-skating rinks, rock-climbing walls and state-of-the-art fitness centers. As you might imagine, Royal Caribbean leaves little possibility for their guests to become bored while on their cruise ships.
Royal Caribbean is Perfect for…EVERYONE!
What type of traveler is right for Royal Caribbean? All types! Royal Caribbean is popular with families, seniors, couples, honeymooners, singles and large groups. In addition, Royal Caribbean is well liked among both newbies and experienced travelers. Why? Because there's something for everyone on a Royal Caribbean cruise! The Royal Caribbean fleet consists of some of the most beautiful, and modern, ships in the cruising industry. Their ships are destinations within themselves! What does this mean? Royal Caribbean’s cruise ships are like floating cities. Some of their main features include health spas, art galleries, several restaurants, world-class theatres, rock-climbing walls, ice skating rinks, surfing simulators, casinos, pools, hot tubs, discos…and the list goes on!
Dining Options Galore
On a Royal Caribbean cruise you'll have a ton of dining venues that you can choose from. Among the many options are the beautiful main dining rooms, buffets, room service, ice cream parlors and various specialty restaurants (which have a nominal per person cover charge), such as Johnny Rockets, Portofino and Chops Grille (which are each available on select ships). Besides the seemingly endless dining options available on each Royal Caribbean ship, they make dinner time even easier by allowing their guests to choose between traditional (assigned, with a choice between main and late seatings) dining and open dining (which gives guests the flexibility of choosing when they'd like to have dinner; called My Time Dining).
What's New for Royal Caribbean?
In very exciting news, Royal Caribbean announced that they have signed a letter of intent with shipyard Meyer Werft to have two new generation ships built. The first of the ships will debut during the fall of 2014, while there's an option for Royal Caribbean to have a second ship built that would be delivered during the spring of 2015. Each of these ships will be 158,000 gross tons and will accommodate up to 4,100 guests (based on double occupancy).
The Royal Advantage is what Royal Caribbean calls their drive to provide the best, most innovative cruise ships, experiences and personalized service. During 2011, they will be adding popular enhancements to a few of their ships. Since January 30, Liberty of the Seas features the Broadway hit Saturday Night Fever: The Musical, and had a 3D movie theater added, an outdoor poolside movie screen, Royal Babies and Tots Nursery, Vintages Wine Bar, as well as new dining options. Since March 27, 2011, Freedom of the Seas, features the BRITTO Gallery, a 3D movie theater, an outdoor poolside movie screen, the Cupcake Cupboard, Vintages Wine Bar, and much more! During the summer of 2011, Radiance of the Seas was enhanced with the addition of new dining options including Samba Grill, Rita's Cantina, Giovanni's Table and Park Café, as well as a variety of technology enhancements. During fall 2011, Splendour of the Seas will have over 100 balconies added, public areas refreshed, the addition of onboard WiFi, the addition of a Concierge Lounge and Diamond Lounge, and more.
On December 5, 2010, aboard the all new Allure of the Seas, Royal Caribbean debuted the DreamWorks Experience, the result of a partnership with world-famous DreamWorks Animation®. This special program features meet and greets, live shows, parades and 3-D movies, including favorite DreamWorks characters (such as those from Shrek®, Madagascar™, Monsters vs. Aliens®, Kung Fu Panda® and How to Train Your Dragon™). Other ships that will feature the DreamWorks Experience will be Liberty of the Seas (since January 30, 2011), Oasis of the Seas (starting February 26, 2011) and Freedom of the Seas (Starting March 27, 2011).
New for 2009 in Royal Caribbean's fleet was Oasis of the Seas, which is their largest and most innovative ship yet. In fact, Oasis of the Seas is the largest cruise ship in the world! Allure of the Seas, a sister ship of the Oasis, is expected to debut during 2010. Both of these ships will feature many never-before-at-sea features, such as an AquaTheater with diving performances, a Boardwalk (featuring the first carousel at sea) and an open-air Central Park…you've got to see it to believe it! |
