Sandals Royal BahamianThe site that Sandals Royal Bahamian was built on was once a posh private club for 1940's high society. This tradition continues today as guests can experience that same level of service that made this area famous so long ago. Sandals Royal Bahamian offers two unique destinations in one. Guests can enjoy all of the elegance on the resort on the main land, and then travel mere minutes over the water to the exclusive offshore island retreat that has two cove beaches. Sandals Royal Bahamian has a wonderful selection of ten specialty restaurants. Options include French, Italian, Japanese and British fare, among others. Also included is free WiFi and unlimited premium drinks, that can be enjoyed at the resort's eight full-service bars, including three swim-up pool bars. New for Sandals are the River Pool Swim-Up Suites. These suites features water right outside the rear porch. Guests can exit their suite and immediately take a plunge in the crystal clear pool! Resort Highlights Private Beach Sandals Royal Bahamian features its very own private beach. Here guests have access to every watersport imaginable as well as exclusive lounging areas. Private Offshore Island While staying at Sandals Royal Bahamian guests can enjoy access to Sandals Island, an exclusive private island retreat. Just minutes away via launch, sailboat, or kayak guests can explore two secluded beaches. One beach is reserved for relaxing and snorkeling and the other is reserved for high-energy water sports. Getting there is half the fun. Jump on a boat to this island of enchantment departing from the pier at regular intervals, or travel on your own by kayak or sailboat. The last return trip from the island to the mainland is usually at 4:45p.m. but is subject to change - hours are visibly posted at both piers. There is no kayaking/sailing allowed to or from the island after sunset. Butler Service With a quiet grace, the butlers at Sandals Royal Bahamian provide a wide range of services with unobtrusive attentiveness. Relaxing on the beach, playing by the pool, or indulging in the privacy of your luxurious villa or suite, your personal butler caters to your every wish, on call and discreetly reached by a personal cell phone. The mid-1940 Teppanyaki cooking style used here is one indication to guests that they're in for a truly memorable experience.  Located on a private island, Stew Fish pays homage to a revered Caribbean cooking style. Stewing, for people of the Caribbean, is a distinctive cooking method based on the principle of caramelizing meat to give it a unique brown color and rich flavor. Inspired by the beautiful seascape, Stew Fish's architecture is decidedly tropical and vibrant.
