Who's eligible for Azamara Military Discounts?
To qualify for military rate, you must be one of the following:

1. Active personnel currently serving in the Canadian National Defense; US Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard or Reserves. Proper ID in the form of a US Uniformed Services White or Green ID Card for US military personnel, & a White N.D.21 ID Card with Red Canadian Flag displayed for Canadian National Defense personnel, must be presented at time of check-in.

2. Retired from any of the divisions listed above. "Retired" is defined as: A) enlisted personnel or officers with minimum 20 years service, B) medically retired or C) 100% disabled. Proper ID for those classified in category A or B must be a US Uniformed Red or Blue ID Card. Proper ID for those classified in cat. C is a US Uniformed Tan ID Card. Retired Canadian National Defense personnel are eligible & must possess the the Green N.D.75 ID Card. All forms of ID must be presented at time of check-in.

3. Veterans with an Honorable Discharge serving a minimum of 2 years, or 6-months in an active war zone, in any of the US service divisions listed above. Proper ID in the form of a DD 214 or DD 256, plus a current photo must be presented at time of check-in.

4. Spouses of actively deployed, or deceased military personnel, are eligible to book one (1) room as long as eligible spouse is occupying the room. All other guests traveling in the same room are eligible for the military rate. Spouse must present the Pink Dependent Military ID upon check-in as proof of eligibility.

How to submit verification of eligibility?
After you make a reservation with us over the phone, your travel agent will give you your Carnival confirmation number. Verification documents, as mentioned above, qualifying the guest for Military rates must be submitted within 72 hours of booking for cruises outside one week prior to sailing and 24 hours for cruises within one week prior to sailing. You must submit these documents directly to Carnival at interline@carnival.com, as well as copy our agency (websales@americandiscountcruises.com) on this email. Be sure to include your Carnival confirmation number (not our agency's invoice number).

Be sure to include your Holland America confirmation number (not our agency's invoice number), which will be given to you once you make a reservation. Please black out your Social Security # prior to faxing your military ID to us. In addition to that, you must be able to show your applicable military ID at the pier (during embarkation) upon request.

What if I'm redeployed?
If a member of the United States Armed Forces or Canadian Armed Forces can no longer travel due to redeployment or recovation of leave, MSC Cruises will issue a full cruise credit for use on a future sail date. Must be verified by letter from commanding officer. Cancellation must be done within 15 days of cruise departure date and future cruise credit is good for two years from cancellation.
