Search Help
You can select more than one option in most of the form fields. Here are explanations of the search options we get asked about the most often:
Departure Port: If you only want to view results for cruises that start in a specific port, you can specify it here. You can select more than one (to see cruises that start at certain ports). For example, you can select both New York and Boston if you only want to view cruises that start in either New York or Boston.

Arrival Port: If you only want to view results for cruises that end in a specific port, you can specify it here. You can select more than one (to see cruises that end at certain ports). For example, you can select both New York and Boston if you only want to view cruises that end in either New York or Boston.
Ports of Call: You can the type name of one port that you would like all your search results to include. For example, if you type Barcelona all of the search results will include cruises that include Barcelona (even if it's not a starting or ending port in the itinerary). Be sure to spell the port name correctly!
Max Occupancy: Allows you to view search results that only include ships that have accommodations for a minimum amount of people per room. For example, if you select "5 and more" your search results will only include ships that have at least one room type that would accommodate at least 5 people. The pricing that displays on the search results page will be the per person pricing based on a room for two people. Proceed further in the online booking process to view the pricing for accommodations for a different occupancy.
Kid-Friendly: Shows cruises that are great choices for those traveling with children and teens. Includes ships with youth programs and/or youth-friendly public spaces. Programs and public spaces are subject to change, at the discretion of the cruise line.

If you check the Cruise Only option, you will only see results that are for a cruise vacation. If you check the Cruise Line Tour option, you will only see vacations that include a cruise + land tour package (also known as a Cruise Tour). Leave both unchecked to view results that include both vacation types.

Transfer Cruise Booking
In keeping with the policies and guidelines of our supplier partners, American Discount Cruises & Travel would be more than happy to assist you in transferring bookings you've made directly with cruise lines to us. Benefits of transferring your bookings may include any (or all) of the following, depending on your reservation and cruise line:
Price Discounts, Onboard Credits, Free (pre-paid) Gratuities, Wine and Other Special Gifts.
The best part about it is that you get a better deal with us and none of your reservation specifics change. Your stateroom number, dining setup, and even loyalty discounts will all still be there…plus, you get our extra discounts and/or amenities! Please note that bookings that have already been paid in full cannot be transferred (only bookings that are being held with or without a deposit can be transferred, and some cruise lines do not allow a transfer to be made after a certain number of days after you initially booked the cruise - please contact us for specific details).

Transfer a Azamara Cruise Booking |

An Azamara reservation can be transferred to us by filling out the form accessible via the link below. Azamara allows transfers up until 60 days from creation of the reservation, if the request is made outside of the Final Payment period and the booking is not paid in full. If a booking has a ChoiceAir ticket and the transfer request involves a change in currency, Azamara cannot accommodate a transfer. Please contact us after submitting the transfer form, so that we know to keep an eye out for it. |

Transfer a Carnival Cruise Booking |

It's very easy to transfer an existing Carnival cruise reservation to our agency. Just give us a call to get the process started. Once you transfer the booking over to us we'll give you a special booking bonus! We can take over a direct booking made with Carnival as long as the transaction happens no later than 90 days after the booking is made or prior to the penalty period (whichever occurs first). If you made the booking within Carnival's penalty period, we have 24 hours from the time the booking is made to call Carnival and take over the reservation. We will need to provide Carnival with your booking number, name, stateroom number, and sail date. You must provide us with the PIN Number that was provided by Carnival to you at the time of booking; bookings made on carnival.com will not have a PIN number to provide. If there is no PIN Number, Carnival will contact you directly to verify that you'd like us to transfer your reservation to us. |

Transfer a Celebrity Cruise Booking |

A Celebrity Cruises reservation can be transferred to us by filling out the form accessible via the link below. Celebrity Cruises allows transfers up until 30 days from creation of the reservation, if the request is made outside of the Final Payment period and the booking is not paid in full. If a booking has a ChoiceAir ticket (also known as Flights by Celebrity) and the transfer request involves a change in currency, Celebrity Cruises cannot accommodate a transfer. Please contact us after submitting the transfer form, so that we know to keep an eye out for it. |

Transfer a Cunard Line Booking |

It's very easy to transfer an existing Cunard booking to our agency. If you haven't deposited the booking yet, all you have to do is call Cunard directly and tell them that you'd like to transfer your reservation to our agency. They'll ask you for our agency's ID number. Please call us for it, prior to calling Cunard. If you have deposited the booking then you need to fax (or mail) them a letter requesting to transfer the booking to us. Please call us for details. |

Transfer a Disney Cruise Booking |

If you'd like to take advantage of our special offers and transfer your reservation to our agency, you must fill out Disney's transfer form (see below for a link to it). Reservations with voyage fare paid in full are not eligible to be transferred. Reservations must be in the same currency to be transferred. Reservations are eligible for transfer within the first 30 days of initial booking. Please contact us after sending the transfer form, so that we know to keep an eye out for it. |

Transfer a Holland America Line Booking |

It's very easy to transfer an existing Holland America Line reservation to our agency. All you have to do is call Holland America Line directly and tell them that you'd like to transfer your reservation to our agency. They may ask you to complete a transfer request form. If they do and the form asks for our phone number, please list our local number: 732-970-9142. Please contact us after submitting the form to them, so that we can confirm that they've received it. HAL only allows reservations to be transferred within 60 days of their initial creation date, so long as (a) the request is made outside the Final Payment period, and (b) the booking is not paid in full. Please contact us for details. Only legal residents of the United States and Canada can transfer a HAL reservation to us (this is a policy of HAL, not our agency). |

Transfer a NCL Cruise Booking |

It's very easy to transfer an existing NCL booking to our agency. Bookings may be transferred to us up until 14 days from creation, if the request is made outside of the Final Payment period and the booking is not paid in full. For new reservations booked within final payment period, that are paid in full, transfer requests can only be processed if the request is received no later than 24 hours from the time of the final payment application. If the transfer request involves a change in currency, NCL cannot accommodate the transfer. If you haven't deposited the booking yet, all you have to do is call NCL directly and tell them that you'd like to transfer your reservation to our agency. They'll ask you for our agency's name, phone number, as well as the name of an agent you spoke to at our agency. Please call us for it, prior to calling NCL. If you have deposited the booking, you'll need to fill out their transfer form (see below for a link to it) and then send it to them (via email or fax; contact info is on the form). Please contact us after sending the transfer form, so that we know to keep an eye out for it. |
