In January 2015, Queen Victoria underwent an extensive 20 day refurbishment. Nine brand new single staterooms were installed, in addition to the refreshment of existing furnishings, enhancements to outdoor spaces, beverage provision in the ship's informal Lido restaurant and eight brand new internet stations installed on the upper floor of the library.

From the very first moment guests board Queen Victoria and enter the triple-height Grand Lobby, they'll know that they're on board a luxurious and well-finished cruise ship. Filled with interesting art work, marble and light mahogany, this area of the ship is truly beautiful. Among the many public spaces of interest on board Queen Victoria are the full-service spa, Royal Court Theatre, hydro pool, swimming pools, whirlpools, casino, sports deck, youth centers, shopping boutiques (located in the stylish Royal Arcade), internet centre, as well as an art gallery and a large two-story library. Among the many bars and lounges on board Queen Victoria are Hemispheres, Golden Lion Pub, the Champagne Bar, the Chart Room, and Churchill's Cigar Lounge. The Winter Garden is a grand conservatory that's filled with greenery, with a retractable glass roof that allows guests to take some sun in.

The main dining room a guests is assigned to depends on the type of accommodations they are booked in. Guests staying in a Queens or Princess Grill suite dine in the single-seating Queens or Princess Grill restaurants, respectively. The 900-seat, two-level Britannia Restaurant is the main dining room for non-Grill guests. The 100-seat Todd English restaurant is Queen Victoria's optional specialty restaurant, featuring innovative Mediterranean cuisine. There is a per person cover charge for those that opt to dine at Todd English. The informal and spacious 450-seat Lido serves buffet-style breakfast and lunch, featuring a variety of international choices. The aforementioned Golden Lion Pub offers traditional English pub food for lunch. 24-hour room service is a convenient option that's available to all guests.

Royal Court Theatre
While on a Queen Victoria cruise, guests have the opportunity to enjoy a wonderful variety of live performances at the three-tier Royal Court Theatre.
