Search Help
You can select more than one option in most of the form fields. Here are explanations of the search options we get asked about the most often:
Departure Port: If you only want to view results for cruises that start in a specific port, you can
specify it here. You can select more than one (to see cruises that start at certain ports). For example, you can select both New York and Boston if
you only want to view cruises that start in either New York or Boston.
→ In the "Advanced Search"
Arrival Port: If you only want to view results for cruises that end in a specific port, you can specify
it here. You can select more than one (to see cruises that end at certain ports). For example, you can select both New York and Boston if you only
want to view cruises that end in either New York or Boston.
Ports of Call: You can the type name of one port that you would like all your search results to include. For
example, if you type Barcelona all of the search results will include cruises that include Barcelona (even if it's not a starting or ending port in
the itinerary). Be sure to spell the port name correctly!
Max Occupancy: Allows you to view search results that only include ships that have accommodations for a minimum
amount of people per room. For example, if you select "5 and more" your search results will only include ships that have at least one room
type that would accommodate at least 5 people. The pricing that displays on the search results page will be the per person pricing based on a room for
two people. Proceed further in the online booking process to view the pricing for accommodations for a different occupancy.
Kid-Friendly: Shows cruises that are great choices for those traveling with children and teens. Includes ships
with youth programs and/or youth-friendly public spaces. Programs and public spaces are subject to change, at the discretion of the cruise line.
→ Cruise Only vs Cruise Line Tour
If you check the Cruise Only option, you will only see results that are for a cruise vacation. If you check the Cruise Line Tour option, you will only
see vacations that include a cruise + land tour package (also known as a Cruise Tour). Leave both unchecked to view results that include
both vacation types.

One of Disney's two sister ships, the 83,000-ton Disney Magic is a classically-themed ship with modern technology and luxuries.
This magnificent ship can be found cruising in a couple of the world's most desirable vacation destinations, including the (Eastern and
Western) Caribbean and Mediterranean.
Refurbished in 2013, Disney Magic is their first ship to feature experiences with Marvel characters (see below for details on
Marvel's Avenger Academy,). During the refurbishment, everything from the grand lobby to staterooms received a face lift. Aquatic
activities were also enhanced, including a new three-story tall water slide!

As might be expected from a family-friendly cruise line such as Disney Cruise Line, there's an impressive variety of things to do while on
a Disney Magic cruise. Wide World of Sports is a massive open-air activities area featuring basketball and volleyball courts.
Also in this area of the Disney Magic is ping pong, a soccer net and shuffleboard. Other areas of interest on board this ship
include its swimming pools, whirlpools, the two-story Walt Disney Theatre (featuring entertaining shows, including Broadway-style Disney
live shows, throughout the cruise) and Buena Vista Theatre (which airs first-run movies and digital 3-D films).
The accommodations on board Disney Magic are well-appointed, comfortable and most have split bathrooms (a great feature for
families traveling together). Ensuring that families can travel in the same room together, the Disney Magic has staterooms that
can accommodate anywhere from 3 to 5 guests, as well as suites that have a capacity for up to 7 guests.
Although a Disney Magic cruise is definitely a fantastic option for a family, it's also a great choice for adults. Aside from
being able to relive your childhood while on the cruise, there are also a variety of adult-only venues on board Disney Magic. For
instance, Palo is an adults-only Northern Italian specialty restaurant (with a per person cover charge). Quiet Cove Pool is an adults-only
pool that offers guests a more relaxed atmosphere than the ship's other pools. There are also many bars and lounges throughout the ship,
both indoors and outdoors, including Rockin' Bar D and Diversions.

Ship Highlights
Character Greetings
While on a Disney Magic cruise, guests will have many opportunities to meet and greet some of the most popular Disney characters.
These experiences can occur throughout the ship, sometimes planned and sometimes as surprise appearances. Just a few of the possible
characters include Mickey Mouse, Minney Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, Donald Duck and Captain Hook.
Innovative Dining
While on a Disney Magic cruise, guests are placed in Disney Cruise Line's Rotational Dining program. Each evening, you and your
personal wait staff will "rotate" to one of the 3 main restaurants onboard the ship, ensuring you enjoy a delicious meal in a
unique setting every night of your cruise. Disney Magic's main restaurants are Animator's Palate (featuring a live dinner show
starring Disney characters), Lumiere's (serving French-inspired continental cuisine) and the tropically-themed Parrot Cay. Casual dining
options available on board Disney Magic are the indoor/outdoor Topsider Buffet, open for all three meals, as well as Pinocchio's
Pizzeria, Pluto's Dog House, and Goofy's Gally. 24-hour room service is a convenient option that's also available.
Marvel's Avengers Academy
Marvel (now a part of the Walt Disney Company family) and Walt Disney Imagineers have created this space for children to enter into the
Marvel Universe. Marvel's The Avengers will make their presence known, as young "crime-fighters" will be transported to a
high-tech command post used by The Avengers for special missions and operations training. In the base are displays featuring famous
Avenger gear, like Iron Man's suit of armor, Captain America's shield, and Thor's hammer. Avengers Academy is a multi-day, immersive
entertainment experience.
Youth Clubs
Not surprisingly, Disney Magic has a fantastic youth program and wonderful youth facilities throughout the ship. The Stack is a
teens-only activity center, where 14 to 17 year olds can make new friends, play video games, watch TV, listen to music, surf the Internet
and much more! Ocean Quest is for 11 to 13 year olds, and is a place where they can take part in a number of activities. Flounder's Reef
Nursery is for children ages 3 months to 3 years, and is a Little Mermaid-themed daycare center. Quarter Masters is a fun-filled
video arcade, also featuring air hockey. Some of the other youth areas on board Disney Magic include Disney's Oceaneer Club,
Disney's Oceaneer Lab and Studio Sea (a family entertainment center, where parents and children can sing, dance, play games and enjoy live
shows together).
Vista Spa & Salon
Located on Deck 9 of the Disney Magic is a full service salon and spa, offering guests an assortment of world-class spa
treatments and salon services. Possible treatments include herbal wraps, botanical skin therapies, massages, manicures and pedicures.
There's even a rainforest-themed aromatherpy steam room, and a sauna based on a Roman bath. This is an adults-only venue, typically open
from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on days at sea. Located nearby this area is the ship's fitness center, also for adults-only. Weight machines,
spinning machines, treadmills and ellipticals, instructional classes (such as Pilates and yoga), and free iPod Shuffles (for when you're
working out) are available at the fitness center.
