1893 Ambassador Program

The 1893 Ambassador Program provided by Hurtigruten dates back to pioneer sea Captain Richard With. It provides a way for Hurtigruten to give back to the loyalty of their new and frequent travelers. Revamped in November 2021, the 1893 Ambassador Program now consists of two tiers. Level 1 is open to anyone interest in joining, and enhanced Level 2 benefits are available for guests who have traveled with Hurtigruten voyages lasting 3 or more consecutive nights. Membership is not automatic. You must apply online with Hurtigruten in order to become a member. (Note: Past 1893 Ambassador members must re-sign up for new loyalty program to take advantage of updated benefits.)

By booking a Hurtigruten cruise with us, we are able to honor all 1893 Ambassador Program benefits that they offer, plus we can give you added amenities that they won't. Priority access to Young Explorer Program
The Young Explorer program is available to children ages 6-12 on select ships. Curious young minds will get the opportunity to partake in engaging and informative activities while gaining a deeper knowledge of nature, climate, culture, wildlife, and history connected to their itinerary.
Welcome basket in your cabin on arrival:
Hurtigruten is happy to wish you a hearty "Welcome back!" with some tasty treats. They appreciate your loyalty, as well as your continued passion to discover the world.

After traveling with Hurtigruten for 3 or more consecutive nights, you'll be automatically upgraded to Level 2. If already meeting this requirement, you'll start at Level 2. Members on Level 2 will receive all of the above Level 1 benefits, plus the following:
