MSC Grandiosa, scheduled to debut in November 2019, will be the fifth brand-new ship to have joined the MSC Cruise fleet within the last 2.5 years. This ship will be the first of the Meraviglia-Plus generation, further building on the Meraviglia model that was first released nine months ago, to bring guests an expanded range of entertainment, dining and accommodation choices. MSC Grandiosa will sail her maiden voyage in the Western Mediterranean, where she will remain for her inaugural period, offering 7-night voyages with ports of calls including Genoa, Civitavecchia, Palermo, Valletta, Barcelona and Marseille. Itineraries will feature a range of different shore excursions, designed to suit the tastes of all types of travelers. The accommodations aboard MSC Grandiosa are some of the finest at sea. Dining aboard MSC Grandiosa is certain to be a fantastic experience that will have you coming back for more each night of your cruise. This ship will have a main restaurant with Mediterranean-inspired chef specialties, as well as special menus for guests who have dietary restrictions and classic dishes that are loved around the world. There will be a total of 12 different eateries consisting of specialty restaurants, buffets and other venues. Many of the ship’s restaurants will be located in the Galleria, her central promenade and social hub, surrounded by boutiques, music, activities and other entertainment. A new restaurant conception is slated to debut in the Galleria, created exclusively for guests who have access to MSC Aurea experience benefits.

New and Expanded Entertainment Options
MSC Grandiosa will feature some new and exciting entertainment options in addition to MSC’s existing features. One of this ship’s biggest highlights will be two brand-new, exclusive shows by Cirque du Soleil at Sea, offered only to those sailing about MSC Grandiosa. The new DOREMI Studio Lounge will extend children the opportunity to record songs and star in music videos. Other areas of interest for families and guests of all ages will be the Polar Aquapark (featuring three twisting slides, multiple pools and a ‘Himalayan Bridge’), the TV Studio & Bar (a high-tech lounge with a radio and television broadcast suite) which turns into a comedy/karaoke club at night, the Attic Club Nightclub, a Sportplex Amusement Park, F1 racing simulators, a full-size bowling alley and two teen clubs for guests ages 12 to 14 and 15 to 17.

Galleria
MSC Grandiosa will have one of the largest Mediterranean-inspired promenades, called the Galleria, a revolutionary highlight of Meraviglia and Meraviglia-Plus ships. This space will consist of shops, specialty dining venues, and will feature L’Atelier Bistrot, an all-new bar and lounge with comfortable seating, a stage and dance floor, terrace seating and decorated with impressionist artwork. Don’t be surprised if you run into a themed party or flash mob in this area of the ship!

LED Sky Screen
By the poolside (which boasts approximately 107 sq. ft. of public space per guest), you’ll discover the incredible LED Sky Screen, where you can watch breathtaking projections on an impressive 1,060 sq. ft. giant screen! The lighting in this area also gives it a wonderful nighttime ambiance for you to enjoy.

MSC Yacht Club
MSC Grandiosa will feature the MSC Yacht Club, which offers the most luxurious suites, 24-hour concierge services, and access to areas exclusively reserved for Yacht Club guests. You’ll get to enjoy all-inclusive refreshments in the lounge, pool and bar including wines and spirits, beer, soft drinks, mineral water and specialty coffees.
