American Heritage, formerly Queen of the Mississippi and originally dubbed "American Eagle", is among the newest riverboats in American Cruise Line's fleet. Like its sister ship, American Pride, the paddle wheeler's design invokes reminiscences of earlier times on the river, letting guests experience an old world feel while blending in an assortment of modern luxuries. Spacious staterooms, fine furnishings, and private balconies make American Heritage comparable to a world class hotel.
The oversized staterooms onboard American Heritage all have interior entrances, complimentary Wi-Fi, room service, satellite TV and DVD player, and coffee brewers. All balcony staterooms also boast floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors, for a picture perfect riverside view.
American Heritage's itinerary primarily features port of calls in New Orleans, Memphis, St. Louis, and St. Paul. American Cruise Line also looks to offer a unique opportunity with the introduction of American Heritage's "Complete Mississippi Cruise" and "Grand Heartland Cruise" itineraries. These longer sailings explore the entire length of the Mississippi River, in northbound and southbound variations. |

Ship Highlights
Largest Staterooms in the Industry
Surpassing its sister ship, American Heritage brings some of the largest staterooms in the river cruising industry to American Cruise Line's fleet, with room sizes beginning from at least 300 square feet. This means plenty of space to store all of your luggage and the bathroom can even fit two full sized adults. Most staterooms also boast their own private balcony, making your voyage feel more like a luxurious hotel stay.
Complimentary Balcony Breakfast & Cocktail Hour
Don't feel like traveling to the dining room for breakfast one morning? Well, balcony guests aboard American Heritage can have breakfast on their private balcony. Enjoy eggs and toast as the Mississippi rolls by just feet away. Then, savor a complimentary cocktail in the Magnolia Lounge before dinner! |
