Wind Star is a sleek, four-masted sailing yacht that comfortably accommodates 148 guests and gives each one a feeling of owning a private yacht. Windstar Cruises provides its experienced cruisers with intimate vacations that offer great food and service. Wind Star features over 10,000 square feet of spacious, teak decks; not typical for small ships. Guests will find hidden nooks on the main deck to help create a feeling of their own private verandah. All staterooms on the vessel have ocean views, with queen beds, Bose SoundDock speakers for Apple iPods, and a flat-screen TV with DVD player. Guests are sure to experience maximum comfort by avoiding crowds and regimen on a Wind Star cruise.

In addition to Windstar's casual voyage experiences, Wind Star offers a casual open dining time at two primary dining venues. Guest can make a reservation for Candles, a venue that features steaks, skewers and dining under the stars. The Restaurant offers delicious course-by-course, gourmet cuisine in the evenings. For those that would like to dine in the comfort of their suite or stateroom, there is an extensive room service menu available.

While sailing on a Wind Star cruise, guests are able to choose from a great variety of entertainment areas such as the casino, library, swimming pool, spa, fitness center, as well as lounge chairs on the Fly Bridge. Among the ship's bars and lounges are the Piano/Pool Bar where live music and cocktails are available, as well as the Skylight Main Lounge, that includes a bar and dance floor.

Candles
One of the two restaurants on board Wind Star, the outdoor, pool side venue Candles offers guests a great view, perfectly paired with alfresco dining and 5-star grill cuisine. Since it's outdoors, it's open based on weather conditions. Reservations are recommended.

The Restaurant
This is a wonderful restaurant that offers full-service, gourmet, course-by-course cuisine in the evenings of each Wind Star cruise. This breath-taking dining hall accommodates up to 250 guests and does not require reservations.

Casino
Those that would like to test lady luck while on a Wind Star cruise may end up spending time at the ship's casino. Among the games of chance available in the casino are poker, blackjack, roulette and slot machines. This is a great place to be at following an evening show.
