Ports of Call: You can the type name of one port that you would like all your search results to include. For example, if you type Barcelona all of the search results will include cruises that include Barcelona (even if it's not a starting or ending port in the itinerary). Be sure to spell the port name correctly!

Max Occupancy: Allows you to view search results that only include ships that have accommodations for a minimum amount of people per room. For example, if you select "5 and more" your search results will only include ships that have at least one room type that would accommodate at least 5 people. The pricing that displays on the search results page will be the per person pricing based on a room for two people. Proceed further in the online booking process to view the pricing for accommodations for a different occupancy.

Kid-Friendly: Shows cruises that are great choices for those traveling with children and teens. Includes ships with youth programs and/or youth-friendly public spaces. Programs and public spaces are subject to change, at the discretion of the cruise line.

Launched November of 2014, Costa Diadema, is the new crown jewel of the Costa Cruises fleet. Weighing in at 132,500 tons, Costa Diadema is the largest ship to sail for the Italian cruise line. Itineraries for the inaugural year are the Western Mediterranean departing from Barcelona, Rome, and Savona. Costa Diadema takes the Costa tradition of fine food and service and bring it to a whole new grand level.

One of the main highlights of Costa Diadema is the largest in fleet Samsara Spa. Measuring at 7,800 square meters and spanning four floors, guests are able to enjoy the pampering and relaxation of one of the finest spas at sea. Areas of the Samsara Spa include a gym, thalassotherapy pool, sauna, and steam room. To go along with the Samsara Spa, Costa Diadema features Samsara staterooms. These staterooms feature exclusive in-room spa amenities and special access to the Samsara spa.

Costa Diadema features 7 restaurants and 15 bars for guests to enjoy in all of the finest foods, ales, wines, and spirits in the Mediterranean. 4 dining venues are for fee and reservation only, but guests staying in Samsara staterooms will get complimentary access to Samsara Restaurant.

There are numerous entertainment options onboard Costa Diadema. These include a Grand Prix Simulator, Squok Club, Disco, Country Rock Club, 4D Cinema, three-story theatre, and even a two-story game area featuring laser-tag and many video games. For aquatics, guests can choose from 8 hot tubs and 3 pools, one of which has a retractable roof which allows for swimming all year-round.

Samsara Spa
While on a Costa Diadema cruise, guests have the opportunity to indulge by enjoying the services of the ship's luxurious (7,800 square meter) Samsara Spa. Possible treatments at this four-level wellness centre include massages, facials and body wraps. Also in this area of the ship is a sauna, Turkish bath, UVA-ray solarium, beauty salon and fitness center.

Duse Theatre
This three-level 4D cinema is where a variety of entertaining shows can be enjoyed by guests on each day of a Costa Diadema cruise. Just some of the types of performances that might occur include singers, dancers, acrobats, magicians, comedians and even 4D movies.

Gaius Casino
While on a Costa Diadema cruise, guests that want to try their luck are often found at the ship's large casino. Among the games available at this venue are Blackjack, Poker, Roulette, Craps, and a variety of slot machines.
