The first Costa ship built and designed specifically for the Chinese market, Costa Venezia will launch in March 2019. Her inaugural voyage will begin in Trieste, Italy and disembark in Shanghai, with stops in Greece, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Vietnam and Japan - a route following Marco Polo's famous journeys between Italy and China!

Marketed as "Italy at Sea", Costa prides itself on offering an authentic Italian and European experience defined by high-quality hospitality, style, cuisine and entertainment. At 135,500 tons and with a total guest occupancy of 5,260 passengers, Costa Venezia will herald the cruise line's bold entrance into Asia.

Designed as a dedication to the city of Venice, Costa Venezia will offer guests a once-in-a-lifetime experience onboard, immersing them in a multi-sensory virtual trip featuring food, art, music and entertainment from Italy's famous City of Canals. Come nightfall, guests may also join in on Costa Venezia's very own version of the Carnival of Venice, the city's famous festival known for its elaborate domino masks.
