The 114,500-ton Costa Favolosa debuted in July of 2011 for Costa Cruises, as the latest of their popular Concordia Class ships, as well as their fleet's new flagship. This ship sails year round in the Mediterranean, mainly offering 7-night cruises round trip from Venice, Italy.

There is a nice variety of accommodations on board Costa Favolosa. Among the options are interiors, ocean views and balconies, as well as large and lavish suites. Samsara staterooms and suites are available for guests that would like to benefit from various in-room spa amenities (including upgraded bathroom amenities), as well as special spa privileges (such as unlimited access to the spa's thalassotherapy pool).

Like the rest of Costa's fleet, Costa Favolosa has an assigned dining format, where guests are able to request (upon booking) one of two dining times for dinner. My Way Restaurant is the ship's two-story main dining room, and offers a dinner menu that changes on each night of the cruise. A more casual venue aboard Costa Favolosa is the ship's large buffet, featuring a variety of intern atonal choices. Club Favolosa and the Samsara Restaurant are the ship's reservation's only, optional specialty restaurants. These venues have a per person cover charge for those that opt to dine in it, which is waived in the Samsara Restaurants for Samsara stateroom and suite guests.

Among the many public spaces of interest on board Costa Favolosa are the golf simulator, a Grand Prix simulator, a 4D show theater, a few swimming pools and Jacuzzis, many lounge chairs, plenty of bars and lounges, a disco, a children's club, a teen center, as well as a casino and spa.
