Departure Port: If you only want to view results for cruises that start in a specific port, you can specify it here. You can select more than one (to see cruises that start at certain ports). For example, you can select both New York and Boston if you only want to view cruises that start in either New York or Boston.

Arrival Port: If you only want to view results for cruises that end in a specific port, you can specify it here. You can select more than one (to see cruises that end at certain ports). For example, you can select both New York and Boston if you only want to view cruises that end in either New York or Boston.

Ports of Call: You can the type name of one port that you would like all your search results to include. For example, if you type Barcelona all of the search results will include cruises that include Barcelona (even if it's not a starting or ending port in the itinerary). Be sure to spell the port name correctly!

Max Occupancy: Allows you to view search results that only include ships that have accommodations for a minimum amount of people per room. For example, if you select "5 and more" your search results will only include ships that have at least one room type that would accommodate at least 5 people. The pricing that displays on the search results page will be the per person pricing based on a room for two people. Proceed further in the online booking process to view the pricing for accommodations for a different occupancy.

Kid-Friendly: Shows cruises that are great choices for those traveling with children and teens. Includes ships with youth programs and/or youth-friendly public spaces. Programs and public spaces are subject to change, at the discretion of the cruise line.

Launched in 2008, and recently refurbished in 2017, ms Sapphire features a redesigned deck plan that features updated accommodations to provide you with a cozy and comfortable cruising experience. ms Sapphire now carries just 98 guests on each voyage, whereas ships of similar size will typically carry 160. This grants you more room to enjoy your vacation and a more personalized experience with the ship’s staff and other passengers. With enough public spaces and lounges to stretch out, it will hardly feel like you are on a river ship. Grab a glass of wine with that couple you just met in one of the inviting onboard lounges or sample cider and calvados together in Chateau Gaillard. One of the best features of Tauck river cruises is their small size, so you can have the best river cruising experience possible.

ms Sapphire boasts some of the finest staterooms offered on European rivers, ranging in size from 150 to 300-sq. feet. As a result of its most recent refurbishment, ms Sapphire now features 14 all-new Tauck Suites and 20 225-sq. foot cabins. 85% of all staterooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows with a French balcony, allowing for unimpaired views of the riverside. All rooms are equipped with in-house movies, a minibar with water and soft drinks, adjustable temperature controls, a hair dryer and a private bathroom and shower with Essentials Line of Molton Brown bath amenities. Rest comfortably after a long day of adventuring on your delicate pillowtop mattress, covered by 400-thead-count satin linens, your head resting on rounded pillows formed from fine mako cotton and your body snuggled up beneath a soft, cotton hypoallergenic comforter with 90% down filling. These are just a few of the comforts you will find yourself surrounded in once aboard ms Sapphire, where keeping you refreshed and relaxed for your traveling pleasure is the key focus of Tauck's service.

Sailing up and down the beautiful River Seine of France year-round, ms Sapphire provides its guests with a fantastic way to experience the culture, cuisine, and history of the area. Voyages on this river cruise ship include Rendezvous on the Seine, Cruising the Seine plus Versailles, Paris and London and Belle Epoch: London to Monte Carlo. From her panoramic restaurant and public spaces, guests of ms Sapphire are able to take in amazing views of the ports of call visited during each cruise. Possibilities include rural Etretat, Calvados country and the abbeys of Breuil-en-Auge, Normandy's beaches, Honfleur, Rouen and Monet's Giverny.
