Ports of Call: You can the type name of one port that you would like all your search results to include. For example, if you type Barcelona all of the search results will include cruises that include Barcelona (even if it's not a starting or ending port in the itinerary). Be sure to spell the port name correctly!

Max Occupancy: Allows you to view search results that only include ships that have accommodations for a minimum amount of people per room. For example, if you select "5 and more" your search results will only include ships that have at least one room type that would accommodate at least 5 people. The pricing that displays on the search results page will be the per person pricing based on a room for two people. Proceed further in the online booking process to view the pricing for accommodations for a different occupancy.

Kid-Friendly: Shows cruises that are great choices for those traveling with children and teens. Includes ships with youth programs and/or youth-friendly public spaces. Programs and public spaces are subject to change, at the discretion of the cruise line.

The first of Holland America Line's four beautiful Vista-class cruise ships, the 82,305-ton ms Zuiderdam can be found cruising in some of the world's most desirable vacation destinations. For instance, ms Zuiderdam cruises are available to Alaska, the Caribbean and the Panama Canal.

Of the many dining options available on board ms Zuiderdam, the two-story Vista Dining Room is the ship's main restaurant. Open for all three meals of the day, a five-course dinner is served at this venue during each night of the cruise. Guests can request, upon making their ms Zuiderdam cruise booking, to be placed in either an assigned or open dining format, enabling them to enjoy their cruise as they wish with Holland America Line's appropriately named As You Wish® dining program. Other dining venues on board ms Zuiderdam include the Lido Restaurant, offering cooked-to-order specialties, and the open-air Terrace Grill. 24-hour room service is a convenient option that's available to all guests.

While on a ms Zuiderdam cruise, you have the option of doing as much or as little as you want. There's plenty of places to keep you busy, including the main show room (which is home to a live performance on each night of the cruise), a casino, swimming pools, whirlpools, a basketball court, volleyball court, duty-free shopping boutiques, as well as many bars and lounges (including Crow's Nest, a large observation lounge that becomes a nightclub during the evenings). If you'd like to just kick back and relax, you should be happy to hear that ms Zuiderdam has plenty of outdoor lounge seating, an art gallery, library, as well as a luxurious spa.

Following her next refurbishment, ms Zuiderdam will debut a number of Suite enhancements as part of a $300-million brand initiative. The main living area in each Suite will be refreshed with a new sofa, lounge chairs, carpet, headboard and more to bring a feeling of contemporary luxury to these accommodations. Electronic upgrades will feature new USB outlets added to the bed headboard, along with LED bedside lights, and fully interactive television system integrating movies on demand as well as daily programming. Suite bathrooms will also receive a designer makeover, featuring a new vanity area with new stone tops, modern faucets and under-mount sinks. Starting in January 2016, guests will also receive additional Suite amenities, which include superior bathrobes and slippers, binoculars for use during the voyage, an in-suite coffee and espresso machine and more!

Youth Facilities
Those taking their vacation with children and teens should be thrilled to learn that there are special areas on board ms Zuiderdam that are just for young passengers. Club HAL® is for 3 to 12 year olds, and offers supervised activities for such guests. The Loft is a teen-only lounge, for 13 to 17 year olds, where they can have fun and hang out with others their age. Plus, right by these areas is a fun-filled video game arcade!
