When she debuted in June of 2010, Norwegian Epic became the largest and most innovative NCL cruise ship ever. This ship has taken NCL's Freestyle Cruising concept to a new level, featuring many "at sea firsts," as well as many new dining options (including specialty restaurants) and entertainment venues.

This "mega ship" offers both Caribbean and Mediterranean cruises. Norwegian Epic's Caribbean cruises sail round trip from Miami, available as either 7-night Eastern or Western itineraries. There is an option to combine both itineraries into an amazing 14-night cruise. Norwegian Epic's Mediterranean cruises sail for 7-nights round trip from Barcelona, Spain. When repositioning between Miami and Barcelona, there are wonderful Transatlantic cruises available on this ship.

Norwegian Epic does not have any ocean view staterooms that don't have a private balcony! A new type of room, first available on board this ship, are Studio staterooms (which were designed with single cruisers in mind). Guests staying in such a cabin have private key-card access to the Studio Lounge, a shared two-story private lounge with concierge and a bar (just for Studio guests). There are also spa accommodations aboard Norwegian Epic, giving guests staying in such staterooms private key card access to the spa stateroom complex. Guests staying in many of the ships suites and Villas have access to Norwegian Epic's exclusive area known as The Haven (formerly called the Courtyard) and The Epic Club (see below for more details).

Those looking for some excitement while on a Norwegian Epic cruise can have fun in the Aqua Park or Sports Complex (featuring a rock-climbing wall). Adults can enjoy The Epic Casino, featuring NCL's great Players Club Program, while children and teens have plenty of spaces created just for them!

Among the many bars and lounges that are available on board Norwegian Epic, is a real Ice Bar, the first of its kind on a cruise ship, as well as Bliss Ultra Lounge and O'Sheehan's Bar & Grill (both which house full-sized bowling alleys!).

Aqua Park
This exciting area of Norwegian Epic features three multi-story water slides (including a tube slide), two main pools with arching water effects that illuminate at night, five hot tubs, a wading pool, a kid's pool, and plenty of lounge chairs to soak up some sun.

Spiegel Tent
This venue is home to the wonderful "Cirque Dreams™ & Dinner" performance, an unforgettable dining experience. It's an acrobatics show, featuring world-class entertainers that perform while you dine.

Spice H2O
Each evening, this venue turns into an adults-only beach club. This area has non-stop entertainment (such as aerial performers and a giant screen showing hypnotic visuals throughout the night), as well as dancing.

The Haven
Guests staying in a Deluxe Owner's Suite, Family Villa, Courtyard Penthouse, Spa Suite or Penthouse on board Norwegian Epic have private key card access to this exclusive two-story section of the ship, previously named the Courtyard. Within the Haven is a private pool, two hot tubs, a gym, a steam room, cabanas, hammocks, a sundeck, indoor/outdoor dining (in The Epic Club), and a bar/night club (The Epic Club Lounge).

SVEDKA Ice Bar
Inspired by the original ice hotels of Scandinavia, this is the only true ice bar at sea. The walls, tables and stools are all made of ice! Upon entering this venue you'll be given a fur coat to keep you warm while you sip vodka in the chilly 17 degrees that this bar is kept at.

Cagney's
This traditional steakhouse, featured on many NCL cruise ships, serves expertly prepared steak and seafood. A per person cover charge does apply, but it's worth it!

The Manhattan Room
While at this restaurant you may feel like you've entered a New York City supper club, with panoramic ocean views and a large dance floor.

Recess
This is an area on board Norwegian Epic that's just for tweens, featuring a dance floor that lights up, Wii™ and Playstation® 3 gaming areas, and a private karaoke performance stage.

Entourage
A night club only for those that are 13 to 17 years of age. It's filled with fun things to do, including Playstation® 3, air hockey, foosball, pinball, a video jukebox, nine large flat-screen TVs, self-serve food and soda stations. At night this venue becomes a dance club for teens only.
