Since its May 2011 debut, Carnival Magic joined its sister ship, Carnival Dream, as being the largest and most innovative cruise ships in the expansive Carnival Cruise Lines fleet.

Carnival Magic makes Galveston, Texas its year-round home port. This magnificant vessel mainly alternates weekly between 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises.

There is a fantastic variety of entertainment venues and things to do on board Carnival Magic. For instance, there is a three-level main show lounge, a huge casino, a full-service Cloud 9 Spa and fitness center, swimming pools, whirlpools, Carnival WaterWorks aqua park, duty-free shopping boutiques, internet cafe, many bars and lounges (including a dance club), and much more!

As far as dining venues go, Carnival Magic has main dining rooms (in which guests can take part in either assigned or open dining for dinner), a buffet-style restaurant on the Lido deck, a pizzeria, deli, grille (serving favorites such as hamburger and hot dogs), as well as 24- hour room service.

Carnival Magic has a wonderful variety of accommodations, from interior staterooms, ocean views, balconies, junior suites and full suites. Among them will be Cloud 9 Spa staterooms and suites, as well as Cove Balconies. Guests staying in spa accommodations have private access to the spa, as well as a couple of complimentary fitness classes and priority in making reservations at the spa.

Carnival Magic left dry dock on March 6, 2016 with all new Fun Ship 2.0 enhancements! Upgrades include the addition of Blue Cantina, Blue Iguana Tequila Bar, Red Frog Rum Bar, Alchemy Bar and Guy's Burger Joint, as well as onboard programs like Camp Ocean and Seuss At Sea.

Carnival WaterWorks
Carnival Magic has a aqua water park on board, featuring a splash park for kids and huge water slides. It's one of the most popular areas on the ship, especially for those looking to have a fun time with their friends and family.

Carnival's Seaside Theatre
This outdoor movie theater has a 12'x22' LED screen and 70,000-watt sound system, making it a fantastic area to enjoy while on a Carnival Magic cruise. Movies, sporting events and concerts are examples of what may be playing at this entertaining venue.

Cloud 9 Spa
Carnival Magic's expansive spa is located on two levels, and is 40,000-square feet in size. A variety of fantastic spa treatments are available at this venue, including massages, facials, aroma stone therapy, body wraps and acupuncture. Also in this area of the ship is a beauty salon and fitness center, with state-of-the-art exercise equipment and fitness classes (such as yoga and Pilates).

Serenity
This is an adults-only retreat aboard Carnival Magic, where guests can relax in a whirlpool or on a comfortable lounge chair (under the shade of a large umbrella, if they like).
