Ports of Call: You can the type name of one port that you would like all your search results to include. For example, if you type Barcelona all of the search results will include cruises that include Barcelona (even if it's not a starting or ending port in the itinerary). Be sure to spell the port name correctly!

Max Occupancy: Allows you to view search results that only include ships that have accommodations for a minimum amount of people per room. For example, if you select "5 and more" your search results will only include ships that have at least one room type that would accommodate at least 5 people. The pricing that displays on the search results page will be the per person pricing based on a room for two people. Proceed further in the online booking process to view the pricing for accommodations for a different occupancy.

Kid-Friendly: Shows cruises that are great choices for those traveling with children and teens. Includes ships with youth programs and/or youth-friendly public spaces. Programs and public spaces are subject to change, at the discretion of the cruise line.

The most intimate of Holland America Line's cruise ships, ms Prinsendam is primarily used for longer itineraries. Possible cruise destinations available on a ms Prinsendam cruise include the Caribbean, Europe, Africa and South America.

On July 1, 2018 ms Prinsendam was sold to the German cruise company Phoenix Reisen, though use of the ship was leased from Phoenix Reisen through July 1, 2019. All ms Prinsendam's itineraries will continued as planned through that date, with those taking place after moved to ms Rotterdam, Volendam and Veendam.

Attentive service and superb cuisine are just a couple of the signature characteristics of a Holland America Line cruise. That's why the fabulous dining one experiences on a ms Prinsendam cruise comes at no surprise. La Fontaine is the ship's main dining room, and is where guests can choose to be placed in either an assigned or open dining format. A five-course meal is served at this venue during each night of the cruise, featuring a variety of selections. The Lido Restaurant is a buffet-style venue, with a bunch of tasty international selections available throughout the day. 24-hour room service is a convenient option that's available to all guests sailing aboard ms Prinsendam.

As far as entertainment options and things to do while on a ms Prinsendam cruise, the Queen's Lounge is the ship's main performance venue. On each night of the cruise, a live show takes place there, with possibilities including acrobats, singers, dancers, game shows, comedians and musicians. Also on board ms Prinsendam is a casino, swimming pools, whirlpools, spa, fitness center, jogging track, putting greens, a shopping arcade (with duty-free items available), photo gallery, and art gallery. Among the ships bars and lounges are Crow's Nest (an observation lounge), Java Bar and Café, the Sea View Bar, and the Explorer's Lounge.
