After receiving a thorough series of updates during a 2005 refurbishment, Enchantment of the Seas received many great new features. Among these enhancements were bungee trampolines, suspension bridges, an expanded Pool Deck, as well as an interactive Splash Deck (a favorite spot for kids) and Boleros, a Latin-themed lounge that's featured on many Royal Caribbean cruise ships. Also during this process, the ship was lengthened by 73 feet!
Enchantment of the Seas is expected to start an upgrade process on December 16, 2012. Among the enhancements that the ship will receive will be an outdoor movie screen, R Bar, Chef's Table, digital signage, pervasive Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, a nursery, Concierge Club and Diamond Lounge.
All of the staterooms and suites aboard Enchantment of the Seas have a private bathroom, vanity area, hair dryer, closed-circuit TV and phone. They range in size from 140 to 1,119-square feet, and include interior staterooms, ocean views, balconies, junior suites and suites.
There are great dining options available on board Enchantment of the Seas. Some of the possibilities include Chops Grille (a premium steakhouse, with a per person cover charge), a two-level main dining room, Windjammer Cafe (featuring buffet-style meals during the day), as well as room service. Those looking for a quick snack should be happy to learn that there's a Ben & Jerry's ice cream parlor on board this ship.
Some of the entertainment venues on board Enchantment of the Seas include the large Casino Royale, a large swimming pool, a few whirlpools, a beautiful Solarium (also with a pool and whirlpools), a rock-climbing wall, two-level show lounge (featuring a variety of shows, such as Broadway-style productions), teen center and video arcade. There are also many bars and lounges on board this ship, including the Viking Crown Lounge, Schooner Bar and Champagne Bar. |
