The 138,279-ton Mariner of the Seas can be found cruising in some of the world's most popular vacation destinations. For instance, this ship does cruises in the Western Caribbean, Mediterranean and South America.
Mariner of the Seas underwent a significant refurbishment during May of 2012. Among the onboard enhancements that this ship received were an outdoor movie screen, updated Vintages wine bar, Thomas Kinkade Gallery™, Diamond Club, digital signage, pervasive Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, nursery, Boardwalk Dog House, and Giovanni's Table.
There are many entertainment venues aboard Mariner of the Seas cruise. For instance, Casino Royale is the ship's large Vegas-style casino (featuring games such as blackjack, poker, roulette, craps and slot machines). The three-level Savoy Theatre is where live shows are performed during each evening of the cruise. Possible shows include Broadway-style productions, comedians, acrobats, singers, dancers, magicians and game shows.
You should never run out of things to do while on a Mariner of the Seas cruise. While on this beautiful ship you can enjoy swimming pools, whirlpools, a video arcade, jogging track and full-service day spa (that's also home to a beauty salon and fitness center). Just a few of the treatments available at the spa are massages, facials, body wraps and acupuncture. The Solarium is a relaxing area of the ship where you can enjoy a cocktail, take a dip in a pool, or just lay down on one of the many comfortable lounge chairs.
There are many dining options available aboard Mariner of the Seas. Among them is the multi-level main dining room, Johnny Rockets® '50s-style diner, a couple of upscale specialty restaurants (Portofino and Chops Grille, each with a per person cover charge), Windjammer Café (offering a large buffet with a variety of food to choose from throughout the day and evening), as well as 24-hour room service.
Mariner of the Seas will undergo a refurbishment in June 2018, adding several new features which will will also be firsts across the Royal Caribbean fleet. These include a bungee trampoline experience called Sky Pad, The Perfect Storm racer slides, an alien vs. robots themed laser tag and the Puzzle Break escape room.
