Royal Caribbean's Empress of the Seas, formerly the Nordic Empress, returns to the fleet newly revitalized bow-to-stern, and boasting modern additions like VOOM, the fastest internet at sea. Empress offers 4 and 5 night roundtrip voyages departing from Miami to the Caribbean, with stops in Key West, Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Costa Maya.
Beginning in 2017, Empress of the Seas will offer voyages to Cuba. Following her maiden Cuba-departure on April 19, 2017 from Miami, Empress will then reposition to Tampa for the 2017 Summer season.
Onboard updates to Empress of the Sea will include newly redesigned staterooms, a re-imagined Casino Royale, extensive spa services, and more! Experience live Salsa music at Boleros Latin Lounge, or all the glitz and glam of a Broadway-style show in the Royal Theater. Savor every day Sunday Brunch, with a complimentary Mimosa or Bloody Mary. Or get your feet wet, and take the new Plunge while you're poolside!
The upcoming revitalization will also see the addition of the specialty restaurant Chops Grille, Royal's signature steakhouse serving premium cuts of steak. Guests can relax in the perfect steakhouse setting at sea, with rich ambiance and modern menu options.
Then sample delicacies and delicious beverages at any of 5 onboard bars and lounges. Or enjoy complimentary, multi-course dining for breakfast, lunch and dinner in Empress of the Sea's Main Dining Room. Choose to dine at a per-determined time each night, or at your own time!
Seek further, unwind like you mean it, and do it all your own way. With fast and early boarding, dining what you want when you want it, and longer stays in port, Empress of the Sea makes a grand re-entrance to the Royal Caribbean fleet starting March 30, 2016.
